In 2017, Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) declared a Notice to Proceed for the Construction, Commissioning, and Process Proving of their 60 cubic meters per day (CMD) Septage Treatment Plant.

Chemical Research’s latest and on-going project is the Tanay Water District (WD) own Septage Treatment Facility. It is a 20 cubic meters per day (CMD) facility that will accommodate most of the WD’s clients. It has been inaugurated and will begin operations by late 2022.

Chemical Research became a pioneer in the Septage Management Industry upon completion of the semi-mechanized septage treatment facility for Baliwag Water District (WD) in Bulacan. Providing top quality chemicals and excellent services, the facility has been operated by the company since 2013. The company currently manages the operation and maintenance of the facility to ease the work of the WD. The facility runs a 30 cubic meters per day (CMD) operation and provides the best services for the customers of the WD. Currently, the WD is in talks with us on the detailed design of expanding from 30 CMD to 100 CMD. This will be the first Septage Management Clustering Program in the Philippines.

Chemical Research had our first Private-Public Partnership with the Legazpi City Local Government Unit (LGU) for their Septage Management Program for the construction and operation of the 30 cubic meters per day (CMD) facility. Currently, our company operates and maintains the Septage Treatment Facility since 2017, as well as the Vacuum Truck Fleet in the program working closely with the LGU and Water District for the continued success of the program.

San Jose del Monte Water District inaugurated last 2015 their septage facility that was completed in the year 2014. Chemical Research spearheaded the construction of one of the biggest facilities in the country. The facility now plans to expand the facility from 60 cubic meters per day (CMD) to 120 CMD.

In 2017, Chemical Research commission and performed process proving for the Isabela, Basilan Septage Treatment Facility with coordination from Isabela Water District (WD). This facility accommodates 10 cubic meters per day (CMD) of septage.

Ormoc City Local Government Unit (LGU) was the second Private-Public Partnership of Chemical Research. The LGU had a contract for the construction of their semi-mechanized facility of 30 cubic meters per day (CMD).
ORMOC CITY (LGU)
The inauguration of General Mariano Alvarez Water District (GMAWD) Septage Treatment Facility was held last November 2020. This facility can take in 15 cubic meters per day (CMD). The GMAWD accomplished their own “LAKBAY-ARAL Baliwag Water District Septage Treatment Facility” in 2016 to further broaden their knowledge with regards to proper septage management.

Hagonoy Water District (WD) entrusted Chemical Research for the construction of their 20 cubic meters per day (CMD) Septage Treatment Facility as their WD is part of the Continuing Mandamus of the Supreme Court. The Continuing Mandamus of the Supreme Court is a writ that instructs 13 agencies of the government to clean, rehabilitate, and maintain the Manila Bay including the Municipality of Hagonoy and Hagonoy WD. In this write, it is stated that a Septage Treatment Plant is required per Municipality.
